UPDATE: The John Edwards MASHUP

mashup (wikipedia) - A mashup is a website or application that combines content from more than one source into an integrated experience.

The image below will take you to the ultimate John Edwards MASHUP. BUT, before you click on the image go below the fold for some more information.

*Update:* Google maps only allows 110 items per page, so I have three pages, click through to all three. LOTS of INFO on this map.

  1. This mashup is not complete, I am still trying to figure out how to get FLICKR slideshows or images that the campaign geotags onto the map.
  2. This mashup does not contain EVERY YouTube video.  It contains almost all the campaign videos, as well as some by Edwards supporters NCDem and mbair.
  3. This mashup doesn't contain any of the great pre-announcement video, which I can't find. Like the Uganda trip for instance. Anyone know where it is?
  4. If any of you have videos or Flickr sets you would like to have added to the mashup, email me.
  5. Houses are campaign offices, TVs represent videos.
  6. Red pins are links to Flickr slide shows until I figure out how to embed.
  7. Exact locations were used when available, otherwise "general" city locations were used.
  8. This mashup has no connection with the campaign, all questions or concerns about the mashup should be directed at ME.

Thanks!

More comprehensive map (none / 0)

It should be noted that a more comprehensive mashup with all of the candidates, along with YouTube video and local news articles is available at www.mapthecandidates.com.
